For some fall fun for the kids, try Autumn Mix:
Melt 1/2 stick of butter and 1/4 c. peanut butter in a small saucepan. Add 1 tsp. garlic powder and 2 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce. In large bowl, combine 4 c. Crispix cereal and 1 c. mixed nuts. Add butter mixture and stir to coat. Bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir every fifteen minutes. Remove from oven and cool on newspaper. Add 16 oz. candy corn or Harvest mix (the pumpkin and candycorn mix).
We usually go through several batches of this between the beginning of September and Halloween.
But, don’t let the kids have all the fun. After much taste testing at our local sushi place, Adventure Guy has perfected the Red Bull Martini.
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add 1 part vodka, 1 part Red Bull, and 1 part cranraspberry juice. Shake! Enjoy!
